Cielsak Family {Utah Family Children Photographer}

This post is a hard one for me to write. For the last twelve years I have grown very close to the Cielsak family. In fact they are family. Matt and my husband served together on 3 deployments and this is the first time that Matt and Adam will not be deploying together. There are bitter sweet tears and lots of love! Tesha and I have been best of friends through all of this and its so hard to watch her go through this one alone this time. Luckily she is never going to be alone because that's what sisters are for and she will always be my sister just as Matt and Adam will always be brothers. I thank them so much for their service and sacrifice for my family and the continued diligence Matt gives to protecting our freedoms. Love you guys!! xoxoxo

Sanderson Family {Logan Utah Family Photographer}

So this summer we had to say goodbye to this sweet family as they embarked across the U.S. for their own grand adventures.. I'm not going to lie there were some tears shed during this session and while editing it. I miss Abish and Jake so much and their cute kids. I'm looking forward to seeing them again in a couple of years. Meanwhile I will sweetly remember all the great times we had together!!

 see you all sooner rather then later

Michael's Milestone, Military Child {Child, Family, Milestone, Logan Utah Photographer}

I met this little guy when he was almost 2 months old. He was one of my first milestone sessions I was able to do. His mom wanted to do something special for her husband for his birthday this year. She saw this saying below and wanted to do the same. So we did!! I think Michael has the perfect Marine face. Luckily I was quick enough to get this image while he was trying to throw off the hat. I totally love how it turned out though!! It created the perfect look. We printed this out on a 16x20 canvas for his daddy. His daddy totally loved it too!! Since this little man recently had a birthday we also did his own milestone session. This was one of the funnest I have done. Its impossible to get a little guy to sit still for very long so I decided it would be fun to follow him around as he played... and the result was?? Tons of FUN!! He kept us laughing the whole time! :) He absolutely loved playing with the chalk with my daughter too!
