Tristan; blonde hair, blue eyed heart breaker!! {Milestone, Children, Family, Cache Valley Photographer}

Each year I donate a Milestone and Family session to be auctioned off at Thomas Edison Charter School.. This year Kristy B. was the lucky winner!! For our first session we did a milestone session with her little boy.

I got to spend some time in the studio with this blonde, blue eyed cutie!! He sure is a cute little cowboy too. We had a very fun time doing his 3 yr Milestone session.. :)  Check out those blue I love these first pictures because of the air planes shirt his daddy is in the Air Force serving away from home at this time.!! Check out those blue eyes I promise these are all natural too!
 It was so great to meet this family and this little man. It always seems like people end up in my life right when I need them the most. Just having someone understand and be able to talk to them makes such a huge difference. When I met  Mr. T. and his mom Kristy I had no idea that she too was missing her husband and her strength in his absence was incredibly strong.
I am truly blessed to be doing photography and getting the chance to work with so many people I would have never met otherwise!!  I am looking forward to doing their family session in January when dad will be home visiting! Until then enjoy this adorable little guy. :D

Barton Family {Cache Valley Family, Children, Couples Photographer}

It's easy to see why Kirsten and Rob have such beautiful children! Not to mention how incredibly fun they are to be with! We had a great evening together eventually even little miss Ellie warmed up to me and I had her all sorts of giggly as well. This family is just one of the many I get to work with and I'm always so privileged to do so.

Families are something rather special to myself as I know they are to most everyone else.  As I'm sitting her writing this post on Thanksgiving day I can't help but to reflect on my own family. This year my husband has been gone to Afghanistan serving his third deployment. It was supposed to be a year deployment that thankfully turned into to only 7 months!! We got him home on his Birthday earlier this month. :) Needless to say I' m one incredibly happy woman to have my whole family gathered around me for the Holidays. Especially grateful for my husband and his service to our country. All my thanks must be given to my Heavenly Father firstly, because he has yet again preserved Adam's life and has allowed for him to return home to us. I know their are many families of those who have served where they have empty chairs at their tables because they gave all for our freedom my heart is full of love, sorrow, and admiration for them. America is a great place to live for me, and I know others feel the same way about their homelands. I'm so grateful for having all that I do and especially being able to continue to grow my talents, meet many new people weekly, and delight in my good life because of the blessing I receive from a loving Heavenly Father.

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you all be safe and have a wonderful day!! :)

Balloons, Brothers, Chickens, and Leaves... makes for one exciting day!!! { Cache Valley Child, Family, Milestone Photographer}

We had ourselves a wonderful day together early in October. We had storm after storm ending up canceling a couple of times. Then perfect timing hit and the weather cleared and we ended up with a beautiful day! We started out with Chickens. That's right Chickens. C.'s grandpa's chickens. He loves to try and catch them and especially hanging out with grandpa doing the chores. Then over to the beautiful red door for some individual portraits of the Cameron and Jace. The sun was just starting to really let go some warmth as we headed up to the canyon to take advantage of the beautiful fall colors where we did the birthday Balloons for Jace's 1st yr Milestone!!! We put the cute boy in the trunk with the Balloons and started to play. We ended our day playing in the leaves where Shauna (mom) and I and my daughter all ended up playing in the leaves. Then of course we had to get Mr. Cameron's 3yr Milestone shots in. Grandma is going to love the antique red stool in these. It has been in the family for a couple of generations.
 It turned out to be a perfect awesome day! I hope you all enjoy going through these as much as I do!
