The Martin Family
My how fast the time has been flying and I haven't been missing a beat either!! One of my sessions in June was with the Martin family. I love this family I have never met anyone more creative and so giving then Rachel and John. Their children are just as darling. I had so much fun with them and "playing" rather then working with them :D

Home of the Free, because of the Brave
I'm kind of excessively patriotic. I don't know if its because I'm an Army wife or just because I LOVE America and everything she stands for. My husband has been in the army for 9 years and has served in Iraq and Afganistan. Since coming back he hasn't been able to be around fireworks anymore because of the sound, smells, and color reminds him of the roadside bombs he was in... (unfortuant reality of war) Needless to say for the past 6 years fireworks haven't been a priority for the 4th of July. But I have missed them so much. Watching a great firework display with a beautiful choreographed soundtrack strikes a chord in me that brings tears to my eyes. It has been 6 years since I have got to watch a display close enough to hear and smell it. I was fortuant so to say my husband was gone for training this year(not so fortuant for that part), and the kids and I got to enjoy two marvelous firework displays!! Yay!! I think this should hold me over for another 6 years :)

Yeah I'm pretty sure I will be good to go for another 6 years after these pictures. I loved every second of it!! I still have the 24th of July celebration fireworks left this year. I can't wait to get more pictures!

Baby Gonzalez

I loved working with this adorable 2 month old! I could have sat there all day and talked to this little guy. He had plenty of stories to tell! I love when babies start discovering their voices. Not only was this is first pictures, but his first family pictures with his mom and dad. His daddy is a Marine and served in Afganistan. Seriously couldn't you just look into these big brown eyes all day?!?

Another Beautiful Mother Elizabeth :)
On Memorial Day I miraculously had the foresight to call my friend and do her maternity session. It was none to soon either! In just 16 hours later she delivered her sweet baby boy.. See lucky!! Being able to share this special time with a new mother or a mother of 5 children, it is always special. I love these moments and capture the beauty or as many say the (glow) of a mother to be. They really are beautiful.
