It's getting to be that time a year again! You got it Wedding bells are ringing!! Over the holidays thousands of people get engaged and each and every moment of those engagements are just as special and unique as everyone else.. How fortunate for me as a photographer I get to be apart of this important event. Each and every single wedding is just as exciting as the first for me. The details are my favorite as they portray the bride and groom. First before any of that comes the engagement pictures! This session is just the starting of the "Big Day" and honestly one of my favorite sessions to photograph. When I sit down and meet with my couples I get as excited as they do..lol.... it's so adorable to see the bride and groom interacting with each other, stealing glances, smiling, and hopelessly in love.. :) (I'll admit it I love a good love story,)
SO after meeting with Sarah and John I knew their engagement session was going to be great! I for some odd reason even got nervous the day of!! haha.... I guess when you are on your game you can even get nervous ;) It was a cold, bright, sunny day in January in Cache Valley. That meant we were hoping that the inversion was not going to be to thick and hoped that some sun would be present. We couldn't have gotten better weather either. It was only a mere 18 degrees but luckily the sun made up for it. I love the sun and the light it creates and I was one happy girl when it would present it self at the most perfect times. John and Sarah were more then happy to keep each other warm during their session and I must say we ended up with some pretty amazing shots!! :)) I loved our locations too.. Seriously it was so hard to chose which pictures to post that I may have over done it a bit..lol... I don't mind if you don't! I hope you enjoy these pictures I have a few personal favorites that I absolutely LOVE and I'm so happy to share them with you.. :))
Beautiful Ring!
Cupid struck!! It must be love ;)
Seriously?!?! Don't they make a stunning couple!!!
Yeah I totally love when I get spend the day taking pictures of cute puppies!! This sweetie was so perfect to photograph. She was so calm and mellow she decided it was the perfect place to lay down and take a nap. I thought it would be a good time to get in some macro detail shots. Dogs really are so cute and full of life. You can find more info about Lucy at Puppy Steps Training (here) She is waiting to find her forever home. She was the most ideal German Shepherd and I would have loved to take her home with me. She was fantastic with the little kids running around.... Miss Lucy is such a cutie!

Hello little miss
Aww.. the dog days of winter

Alright girls and gals lets talk about... the Selfie! We have all seen those "selfies" all over Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. WE LOVE SELFIES!!! Right??? Lets be honest some we see scare us!! Yes even our own! haha... How many times have you taken that self portrait and think {" aw man man, my nose looks big." or "what was that look!"} How many times do you tell your self {"I'm looking good today!"}?? I'm sure those come less frequently.. I ran across this video today and I couldn't help but share it! Personally I have a few "selfies" that are my favorite and some not so much.. ;) After watching this I couldn't help but wonder what my little girl is going to think of her "selfie" in another 6 years down the road. Will she see the beautiful young women with the bright, vivacious brown eyes I do? OR will it be all her insecurities staring her in the face? (hopefully not the latter) We are pretty harsh on our selves as women. Although, I am not perfect I do try insanely hard to not put my self down in front of my daughter. It's amazing how much they watch us and look to us and watch every single move we make!
More often then not when I'm about to do a session I have someone say (generally a woman), I never look good in pictures.. WELL that is not true! It breaks my heart to hear that, but I have been there and have felt the exact same way... I love being able to show these women how beautiful they are, and the way I see them through my lens!! They are all so beautiful and so are YOU!!!
NOW, What I really want to do is have all of you watch this video and then send me your "selfies"! Send those beautiful pictures to mandybagley@gmail.com I want to celebrate how uniquely different and beautiful each and everyone of you are. As I receive them I will post them on here.. If you wish to remain anonymous you will ;) I promise. Remember to share the LOVE and leave some comments for these beauties!

My Niece :)
Hey little boy selfies are the cutest too!!!
And this was her selfie yesterday. I can almost always find new ones on the iPad and they make my heart so happy because I think she takes pics of her self because she knows she beautiful. Even after she just got done eating a sucker that made her lips look massively outlined ;) I hope I've helped teach her to see her beauty in anyway! -Bobbi
Each year I donate a Milestone and Family session to be auctioned off at Thomas Edison Charter School.. This year Kristy B. was the lucky winner!! For our first session we did a milestone session with her little boy.
I got to spend some time in the studio with this blonde, blue eyed cutie!! He sure is a cute little cowboy too. We had a very fun time doing his 3 yr Milestone session.. :) Check out those blue I love these first pictures because of the air planes shirt his daddy is in the Air Force serving away from home at this time.!! Check out those blue eyes I promise these are all natural too!
It was so great to meet this family and this little man. It always seems like people end up in my life right when I need them the most. Just having someone understand and be able to talk to them makes such a huge difference. When I met Mr. T. and his mom Kristy I had no idea that she too was missing her husband and her strength in his absence was incredibly strong.
I am truly blessed to be doing photography and getting the chance to work with so many people I would have never met otherwise!! I am looking forward to doing their family session in January when dad will be home visiting! Until then enjoy this adorable little guy. :D
